About the role.
Reporting to the project manager, we are seeking a suitably qualified electrician with telecommunications experience to lead the site team for technically challenging, yet rewarding projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate with the project manager for procurement and logistics.
- Carry out project specific quality and documentation requirements.
- Adhere to client and Nilsen OH&S; policies and procedures.
- Supervise on-site personnel.
The two current projects do require travel and will see some periods away from Darwin, however all time on site will see opportunity for overtime and applicable LAHA. Whilst in Darwin, work will also continue on the projects or various other minor projects as needed.
About you.
- Unrestricted NT electrical license.
- Construction industry white card.
- Demonstrated experience in leading electrical and communications teams.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Baseline clearance.
- Hold full Australian working rights – Visa sponsorship not available.
- Current valid manual driver's license.
- Local to the greater Darwin region – this is not a FIFO position.
- Working knowledge of relevant standards and legislation.
- Ability to work remote when required.
- Open Cabling Registration with Structured Endorsement (highly desirable).
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office suite i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel (desirable).
- Working at heights and High Risk Work License (WP) (desirable).
