We currently have two opportunities available:

· Casual Driver / Storeperson – primarily delivery driving with some store and warehouse duties.

· Full-Time Storeperson / Driver – primarily store and warehouse duties, working afternoon shift, with driving duties as required.

These are active, hands-on roles suited to people who enjoy working as part of a team and take pride in getting products to our customers safely and on time.

Both roles are paid at the Level 3 rate of the Road, Transport and Distribution Award.

Casual Driver / Storeperson

Your duties will include:

· Safely delivering Ashgrove products to customers

· Loading and unloading delivery vehicles

· Checking loads against run sheets and delivery documentation

· Completing vehicle checks and reporting any faults

· Managing customer returns in accordance with procedures

· Providing friendly and professional service to our customers

· Assisting with general store and warehouse duties as required

· Maintaining a clean and safe vehicle and work environment

Early morning starts required. As one of the faces of Ashgrove to our customers, you'll need to be reliable, skilled and comfortable working independently while out on delivery runs.

Full-Time Storeperson / Driver – Afternoon Shift

This position is primarily based within our milk distribution warehouse and involves full-time afternoon shift work 4pm-12am.

Your duties will include:

· Picking and preparing milk and other dairy products for customer orders

· Loading and unloading trucks

· Checking stock and orders for accuracy

· Receiving and putting away stock and returned products

· Stock rotation and ensuring products are handled in accordance with food safety and temperature requirements

· Maintaining a clean,



organised and food-safe warehouse

· Preparing delivery loads for upcoming runs

· Completing relevant warehouse and stock documentation

· Assisting with delivery driving when required

· Working closely with drivers and other members of the distribution team

About You

For either role, we're looking for someone who:

· Holds a current MR licence (manual)

· Holds a current Forklift license

· Is reliable and has a strong work ethic

· Has a strong focus on safety

· Is physically capable of undertaking manual handling and repetitive work

· Has good communication skills

· Can complete paperwork and use computer-based systems

· Has good numeracy skills

· Can work effectively in a food-safe environment

· Works well both independently and as part of a team

Previous delivery driving, warehousing, stores or food distribution experience would be highly regarded.

A current National Police Check will be required prior to commencement.

Must be willing to undertake a driver pre-employment medical including instant drug and alcohol screening, and fitness to drive a commercial vehicle assessment.
