We are seeking a capable and reliable Process Worker to join our Kings Meadows egg grading team. The primary purpose of this role is to process and pack eggs in preparation for dispatch to customers. This is a casual position with an anticipated requirement of 3-4 shifts per week.
About you:
- You are physically fit and able to lift moderate weights
- You are able to work effectively as part of a team in a way that is aligned to the organisation's values and desired outcomes
- You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are organised with an attention to detail
- You are able to work with minimal supervision and display initiative
- You have sound verbal, writing, reading and math skills (at grade 10 or above level)
- You are experienced in operating basic machinery or are willing to learn
- You enjoy looking for efficient ways of working without compromising quality or safety
Key tasks include:
- Operation of egg grading, egg collecting, sorting and packing machinery
- Manual handling tasks such as box assembly, lifting egg cartons & egg fillers, and use of pallet jacks
- Ensuring that correct packaging is used and that appropriate volumes are utilised
- Participation in daily and weekly cleaning routines
- Compliance to WHS guidelines, food safety standards, company policies & procedures
Desirable qualifications & experience
- No tertiary qualifications are required
- Experience in a food processing or general production environment would be beneficial
- Experience in undertaking responsibilities for key functions would be advantageous

Work hours range between 8.00am to 6.00pm Mon-Fri, however these hours can vary depending on the needs of the organisation and the successful candidate.
