Westweld Engineering is seeking a motivated and organised Project Administrator / Administration Assistant to join our team in Geraldton.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator or someone looking to develop their skills and build a career in project administration. Previous project administration experience is not essential, and training will be provided for the right person.

About the Role
As our Project Administrator, you'll provide day-to-day administrative support to our Project Manager and site teams, helping to keep projects organised and running smoothly.
The role is varied and will involve everything from employee onboarding and project documentation through to client communication and general administration support.
For someone current to project administration, you'll have the opportunity to learn the role with support from our existing team and gradually take on more responsibility as your skills and confidence develop.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the project and operations teams as required
- Prepare, maintain and reconcile project documentation, registers and records
- Coordinate onboarding requirements for employees
- Maintain and monitor project and compliance documentation
- Assist with the coordination and scheduling of personnel and equipment for projects
- Liaise professionally with clients and suppliers
- Assist with tender submissions and contract administration as required
- Assist with purchase orders, timesheets and project cost tracking
- Provide general administrative support to the project and operations teams as required
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and willing to learn.
You don't necessarily need previous project administration experience. For the right person, attitude, attention to detail and the ability to learn are just as important.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous experience in administration, office support or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Knowledge of HSEQ or compliance systems would be beneficial
