Reporting directly to the owners and working closely with the existing team, this role will suit a passionate livestock person who enjoys both independent responsibility and teamwork. The successful candidate will ideally have previous sheep experience and be confident overseeing livestock movements, health and performance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

- Manage livestock inductions, including scanning, needling, drenching and coordinating all stock movements into and out of the feedlot.
- Monitor livestock health, performance, weight gains and conversion rates to achieve production targets.
- Coordinate stock movements, including loading and unloading trucks, processing and weighing lambs.
- Assist with general feedlot operations and organise casual labour requirements when required.

Selection Criteria:

- Previous livestock experience, ideally within a sheep feedlot or intensive livestock operation.
- Strong stockmanship skills with a genuine passion for livestock production and animal welfare.
- Ability to work independently, lead livestock activities and contribute positively within a team environment.
- Current driver's licence and ideally own working dogs suitable for livestock handling.
