Portarlington Golf Club is seeking an experienced and motivated Gaming Supervisor to lead our gaming operations and support our hospitality team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced gaming professional who enjoys leading a team, building strong relationships with members and guests, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service, compliance and venue presentation.

Located on the picturesque Bellarine Peninsula, Portarlington Golf Club is a thriving community club featuring golf, bars, bistro dining, functions, gaming, TAB and Keno. As one of the region's premier hospitality destinations, we pride ourselves on providing a welcoming workplace for members, guests and visitors.

About the role

As Gaming Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our gaming room, ensuring exceptional customer service, regulatory compliance and a positive team culture.

Key responsibilities

- Supervising gaming operations and gaming floor activities

- Leading by example to deliver outstanding customer service

- Ensuring compliance with Responsible Gambling requirements and venue policies

- Cash handling, payouts and reconciliations

- Supervising and supporting bar and lounge operations to ensure exceptional customer service standards across the venue.





- Supervising TAB and Keno operations

- Supporting, coaching and mentoring gaming attendants

- Monitoring gaming room presentation, cleanliness and functionality

- Building strong relationships with members and regular patrons

- Responding appropriately to customer concerns and service issues

About you

- Previous experience in a Victorian gaming venue

- Demonstrated experience supervising or leading hospitality staff

- Current RSA and RSG certification

- Strong knowledge of Victorian gaming regulations and responsible gambling requirements

- Experience with gaming payouts, cash handling and reconciliations

- Experience with TAB and Keno operations

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

- A skilled and approachable leadership style

- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
