Australian Industry Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre is seeking motivated individuals to commence a Certificate III in Plumbing Apprenticeship with one of our respected host employers based in Bendigo.

This is an excellent opportunity to earn while you learn, gain a nationally recognised qualification and develop the skills needed for a successful career in the plumbing industry. Supported by experienced tradespeople and your dedicated Employment & Training Consultant, you'll receive the guidance and training needed to become a qualified plumber.

Duties May Include

- Installing and repairing roof plumbing systems
- Working with roofing iron and sheet metal products
- Handling and installing roofing sheets
- Installing roof battens and roofing components
- Measuring, cutting and shaping materials to specification
- Using tools such as tech screw guns, tin snips and other trade equipment
- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Creating the layout of plumbing systems and required materials
- Assembling and installing piping, fittings and plumbing components




- Testing plumbing installations and ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Working safely at heights and on roofing projects
- Maintaining a clean and safe worksite

About You

- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with full working rights
- Completed Year 10 or equivalent
- Interested in building a career in the plumbing and construction industry
- Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
- Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
- Able to work as part of a team
- Driver's Licence desirable but not essential
- White Card advantageous but not essential
