- Permanent Full-Time
- Be the welcoming first point of contact for residents, visitors and our local community
- Enjoy a varied role combining reception, administration and genuine resident engagement
Are you naturally welcoming, highly organised and someone who takes pride in making people feel comfortable from the moment they walk through the door?
Join Eureka Villages as our Receptionist in Geraldton (Sunset Beach Holiday Park) and become an important part of the onsite team supporting our residents and the day-to-day operation of the park.
This isn't just about answering phones and managing a front desk. You'll be a familiar face within the community, providing friendly support to residents while keeping the administration behind the scenes organised and running smoothly.
Why Eureka?
At Eureka Villages, we believe community living is about more than providing accommodation. We create welcoming communities where people feel safe, connected and genuinely at home.
As our Receptionist, you'll often be the first person a resident, visitor, contractor or prospective resident speaks with, making you an important part of the experience people have with Eureka.
Reporting to the Park Manager, you'll work closely with the broader onsite team and provide the administration, communication and coordination that helps keep the community running effectively.
Guided by our values of Putting People First, Embracing the Challenge, Committing and Following Up, Acting with Purpose and Building Belonging, you'll join a team that genuinely values the relationships we build with our residents.
What's the role?
You'll be at the centre of the park's day-to-day administration and communication.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Being the welcoming first point of contact, greeting residents, visitors and contractors,
answering calls and ensuring enquiries reach the right person.
- Supporting the Park Manager with administration, including correspondence, scheduling, documentation and maintaining accurate resident records.
- Keeping the office running smoothly, coordinating mail and deliveries, maintaining filing systems and ensuring confidential information is handled appropriately.
- Building positive relationships with residents, responding to everyday enquiries with empathy, professionalism and a genuine willingness to help.
- Supporting community activities and broader park operations, assisting with events, logistics and other initiatives while maintaining strong safety and compliance standards.
What's in it for you?
At Eureka, we recognise that our people are our greatest asset.
You'll enjoy:
- A varied role combining administration, customer service and community engagement
- The prospect to build genuine relationships and become a trusted part of the Geraldton community
- Support from the Park Manager, onsite team and Eureka's broader national Support Office
- A role where your organisation and attention to detail have a visible impact on the smooth operation of the park
- The opportunity to join a growing national organisation committed to creating communities where people belong
What's it like working for Eureka?
No two days are exactly the same.
You might start your morning welcoming a visitor before helping a resident with an enquiry, updating records, coordinating a contractor, assisting the Park Manager with some administration or helping organise an upcoming community activity.
You'll need to be comfortable switching between priorities while remaining friendly, organised and accurate.
Most importantly, you'll be working with people, not just paperwork. The relationships you build with our residents will be an important part of your role.
Is this role right for you?
We're looking for someone who combines excellent administration skills with warmth, initiative and a genuine enjoyment of working with people.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in reception, administration, customer service or a similar people-focused role
- Strong administrative and computer skills, including confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other administrative systems
- Excellent attention to detail and data-entry accuracy, with the ability to maintain organised and confidential records
- Friendly and professional communication skills, with the confidence and empathy to engage with residents, families, visitors, contractors and colleagues
- Strong organisation and initiative, with the ability to manage competing priorities, solve everyday problems and work both independently and as part of a team.
A Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent would be highly regarded but isn't essential.
Ready to join Eureka?
If you're looking for a role where great administration and great people skills are equally valued, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply today and help us create a community where every resident and visitor feels welcomed from the moment they arrive.
