Who this suits

This is an outstanding introduction to the recruitment industry, and it is particularly well suited to someone who has recently completed, or is close to completing, a degree in commerce, business or a related discipline, and who now wants a commercial career with genuine progression.
Progression here is not time-served, and there is no ceiling on it. The harder you work and the more success you have, the faster you move, both in title and in the seniority and complexity of the roles you get to recruit. Many of our team started in support-level recruitment and now partner with CFOs on senior appointments.

It’s more than accounting support recruitment

Accounting Support recruitment would be your focus area, but it is not the limit of what you will learn. You will sit across the table from senior finance and HR leaders, work out what actually drives their business, and be trusted to solve problems for them.
The roles you recruit are business critical. Accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping and assistant accountant positions keep cash moving, suppliers paid and reporting on time. When those seats sit empty, our clients feel it immediately, and they rely on us to fix it quickly and well. You will finish your first year with a far better understanding of how businesses actually operate than most of your peers.

What you will be doing

- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle,



from client development through to placement and post-placement care
- Recruiting Accounting Support roles across permanent and temporary/contract markets, including accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping and assistant accountants
- Meeting with finance and HR leaders to understand their teams, their pressures and what a great hire looks like
- Building genuine, long-term relationships with clients and candidates
- Growing an already warm desk into something bigger, with the support of a team that has done it before

What we are looking for

- A real interest in business and finance, and curiosity about how organisations work
- Someone who enjoys people, and understands the part work plays in their lives
- The desk is warm, but we want someone ambitious about growing it, not maintain it
- An openness to learning and a willingness to be coached
- Transparent, confident communication, written and verbal
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, because the detail is where trust is won
- Recruitment experience is not required.
- Tertiary study in commerce or business will be highly regarded
