About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse/Occupational Health Nurse to join our team on a term casual basis for 4 to 5 months, supporting a major workforce health project for a leading national agribusiness client.
This project will support a large-scale seasonal workforce program, with high-volume pre-employment medicals and health screening requirements delivered within compressed timeframes.
Expected volumes include:
- 50+ assessments per day (team-based delivery)
- Mix of pre-employment medicals, health surveillance, and drug & alcohol testing
- Potential for extended hours and weekend work during peak periods
This role is ideal for clinicians who thrive in fast-paced, operational environments, and enjoy contributing to large-scale workforce mobilisation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-employment medical assessments for seasonal workforce roles
- Perform:
- Audiometry and spirometry
- Functional and musculoskeletal assessments
- Drug & alcohol screening (AS/NZS compliant)
- Support delivery of health surveillance and compliance programs
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reporting
- Work collaboratively within a high-performance clinical team to meet daily throughput targets
- Contribute to efficient, high-quality service delivery during peak project periods
About You
You will be a confident and capable clinician with:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in occupational health, workplace health, or pre-employment medicals
- Proven capability in high-volume or time-sensitive environments
- Competency in:
- Audiometry
- Spirometry
- Drug & alcohol testing
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Flexibility to support rostered hours, including early starts or extended days
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to regional and remote locations across South Australia and interstate as required
- Availability to undertake multi-day travel assignments, including overnight stays during peak project periods
- Commitment to completing a mandatory 3-4 day paid training and onboarding program prior to commencing project work
- Ability to commence training and project work within short timeframes
