The Role
Reporting to the Construction Superintendent, you will:
- Lead and supervise SMP crews across the BWR7 workfront.
- Coordinate mechanical, piping, structural and rigging activities.
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site requirements.
- Monitor daily progress and help deliver project milestones.
- Work closely with engineering, quality and commissioning teams.
- Mentor and support tradespeople and leading hands
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- S26 Certification - Mandatory
- Trade qualification in Pipefitting, Boilermaking(highly regarded)
- Tickets in Rigging and Scaffolding (highly regarded)
- First Aid & CPR
- Proven experience supervising SMP works in major construction or heavy industry (highly regarded)
- Experience overseeing piping installation,
commissioning and structural/mechanical assembly
- Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills
