Casual Pool Lifeguards

Berrigan Shire Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from enthusiastic and community-minded individuals to join our casual pool lifeguard team for the upcoming 2026/2027 swimming season.

As a Pool Lifeguard, you will play an important role in ensuring a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for all patrons.

Duties include:

- Supervising pool users and maintaining a safe aquatic environment.
- Responding to emergencies and administering first aid when required.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Assisting with the presentation and cleanliness of pool facilities.
- Undertaking routine operational and safety checks.

What we’re looking for:

- Current Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or equivalent).
- Current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011).
- Current Provide CPR (HLTAID009).
- NSW Working with Children Check.
- Make your mark and help shape a safer, cleaner, and more connected community.




- Availability to work weekdays, weekends, public holidays and wide-ranging shifts throughout the pool season.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
