About the role

This is a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our participants. This role includes varied responsibilities such as assisting our participants with personal care, cooking, cleaning, shopping, socialising and transportation services. Each participant has a tailored program developed with their family and Care Partner to meet their individual goals and this generates a varied and dynamic work setting for our Home Care Workers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering reliable, high-quality Aged Care Home Care Services. You will strive to go above and beyond, exceeding expectations in every way and providing an environment for our clients that's not just safe and comfortable, but a thoroughly enjoyable place to be.

We are looking for casual Home Care Workers available to work:

- Within and around Bankstown-Canterbury LGA.

Please only apply if you are available to work during the following time periods:

- Monday to Friday between 7am to 11am

- Monday to Friday between 2pm to 7pm

Shift duties include the following:

- Assistance with self care and activities of daily living

- General House Cleaning

- Accompanied Activities (with/without transport)

- Meal Preparation

- Shopping Assistance (with transport)

- Individual Support (with/without transport)

Skills you’ll need to succeed

- Qualified with a Certificate III in Community Services or Aged Care

- Current and unrestricted Australian Driver's License

- A registered motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance

- Relevant experience in the Aged Care sector or working with people with dementia

- First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain





- Competent verbal and written communication skills

- An awareness of WH&S; and manual handling procedure

- Have a genuine desire to help others

- The ability to manage a demanding workload and a range of priorities

- The ability to use a smartphone (touch screen, internet, and email functions)

- Positive attitude and adaptable to change
