Axial Training is looking for an experienced and energetic Business Development Manager to take ownership of our Central Coast, Newcastle and Mid North Coast region.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of NSW's fastest-growing and most energetic RTOs, bringing a flexible, workplace-based training model to the apprenticeship and traineeship market.

You'll inherit a strong existing client base in a well-established territory, together with enormous potential to grow new business and make the region your own.

The Role

Working autonomously and with strong support from the wider Axial team, you'll:

- Manage and grow an established portfolio of employer clients

- Develop new apprenticeship and traineeship business

- Build strong, long-term relationships with employers and industry

- Identify workforce and training opportunities across your region

- Represent Axial Training throughout the Central Coast, Newcastle and Mid North Coast

Apprenticeship and vocational training industry experience is essential.

You'll need to bring either:





- Proven sales/business development experience within the VET sector; or

- Solid experience with an ACAP – Apprenticeship Support Agency

You'll understand apprenticeships, employers and the broader vocational training environment. Just as importantly, you'll be a confident relationship builder who enjoys getting out into industry, developing opportunities and delivering results.

- An established client portfolio

- Plenty of autonomy to manage your region
