About the role

Based in our Room Service Support Centre in Kings Square (Perth CBD), you will be responsible for receiving incoming calls from patients and assisting them with menu selections, dietary enquiries, and meal ordering. Using the Delegate Menu Management System, you will accurately enter meal orders and work closely with hospital staff to ensure patients receive the right meal at the right time.

Key responsibilities

- Answer patient calls and process meal orders accurately and efficiently.

- Assist patients with menu enquiries and provide information on available meal options.

- Ensure dietary requirements, allergies, and special requests are appropriately identified and communicated.

- Enter meal selections into the Delegate Menu Management System.

- Liaise with nursing staff, catering teams, and other hospital departments to resolve enquiries and support patient needs.

- Follow established communication processes and service standards.

- Escalate concerns, issues, or complex requests to Team Leaders as required.

The ideal candidate is a compassionate and service-oriented communicator who enjoys helping people and thrives in a rapid-paced environment.



You will be confident discussing menu options, understanding dietary needs and allergens, and accurately processing information using computer-based systems. Strong teamwork skills, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional patient experience are key to success in this role.

- Salary: $44.99 to $48.57 (inclusive of casual loading), plus 12% superannuation

- Casual positions available across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, with applicable shift penalty rates.
