Brighton

About the role

Working closely with the Founder, you'll take ownership across four key areas: growth, brand and marketing; operations, systems and performance; team, standards and member experience; and culture and community.

This isn't simply a marketing role, nor is it a traditional Studio Manager position. We're looking for someone who can see the bigger picture, identify opportunities and then build the systems and processes required to make them happen.

Ultimately, you'll help us raise the standard across the entire business and build a brand that can grow without losing what makes it special.

Key responsibilities

- Work closely with the Founder to translate the Bridge brand vision into strategy and execution

- Help shape and execute our marketing, brand and growth strategy

- Manage the content and social media calendar and turn ideas into campaigns, content and initiatives

- Ensure our brand is consistently represented across every customer and member touchpoint

- Own the lead and sales process, including follow-up, conversion and continually improving the customer journey

- Develop initiatives to drive membership growth, engagement and retention

- Develop local partnerships, collaborations, events and community initiatives

- Take ownership of key day-to-day business operations

- Develop, document and continually improve systems, processes and SOPs

- Create clear, repeatable processes that improve consistency and allow the business to grow

- Build systems and processes that allow the business and team to operate effectively without everything relying on the Founder

- Improve member onboarding, communication and retention systems

- Track and report on leads, sales conversions, membership growth, retention, class capacity and other key business metrics

- Identify problems at the source, implement solutions and make sure improvements actually stick

- Take ownership of projects from idea through to implementation and measurement

- Support team communication, expectations, accountability and high standards

- Help establish systems and processes that create a consistently exceptional member experience

- Help strengthen the culture across both our team and member community

Success in this role will mean Bridge is growing, our brand is getting stronger, our systems are getting better, our team is operating at a higher standard and fewer things need to come back to the Founder to get done.

About you

You may come from fitness, wellness, lifestyle, hospitality, beauty or another strong consumer-facing brand. Previous boutique fitness, studio management or coaching experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential.

What matters most is your ability to combine operations, growth, brand thinking and exceptional execution.

You'll ideally:

- Have experience across operations, growth, brand, marketing or business management

- Have strong brand instincts and understand how to build a brand people genuinely want to belong to

- Understand how marketing, sales, customer experience and retention work together to drive growth

- Be commercially minded and comfortable working with targets, KPIs and business performance

- Be highly organised and excellent at implementing systems, processes and SOPs

- Be able to identify what is working, what isn't and what needs to improve

- Be confident working with a team, setting expectations and helping maintain high standards

- Have an exceptional eye for customer experience and detail

- Be proactive, resourceful and comfortable taking genuine ownership

- Be able to move comfortably between strategy and hands-on execution

- Understand social media, content and modern consumer marketing without needing to be a specialist in every channel

- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Have a genuine interest in women's strength, health and wellbeing

Just as importantly, you'll be the right cultural fit for Bridge.

We're a small, close-knit team and want someone who genuinely wants to be part of what we're building. You'll bring positive energy,

warmth and personality to the role. You'll enjoy collaborating, having a laugh, bouncing around ideas and being part of a fun, supportive and ambitious environment.

We're looking for someone who is creative and commercially switched on, but also approachable, down-to-earth and great with people. Someone who genuinely cares about their work, takes pride in doing things well and naturally holds themselves and those around them to a high standard.

Most importantly, you're someone who notices things, sees opportunities and makes things happen.

You don't need to wait for a list of tasks. You'll be excited to bring ideas to the table, take ownership and help make a great business even better.

About us

Bridge Fitness is a boutique women's strength training studio in Brighton with a loyal and growing community.

We've built something special, with a strong brand, an exceptional training experience and a community of women who genuinely love being part of it.

We've built strong foundations. We're now looking for someone who can understand what we've built, see the bigger opportunity and help us take it to the next level.

You'll work closely with the Founder, have genuine autonomy and be encouraged to bring ideas to the table.

Hours and working arrangement

Permanent part-time, approximately 25 hours per week.

The role offers flexibility around how those hours are structured, with a hybrid mix of working from home and spending time in our Brighton studio.

Salary

$80,000 to $110,000 + super full time equivalent, pro rata for approximately 25 hours per week, depending on experience.

How to apply

Please don't send us a generic cover letter.

We'd much rather hear a little about you, why this role genuinely interests you and what you think you could bring to Bridge Fitness.

In your application, we'd love you to tell us:

- Why does this role and Bridge Fitness appeal to you?

- What have you helped build, grow or improve in a previous role?

- When you look at a business like Bridge Fitness, what opportunities do you see?

We want to get a feel for how you think, what excites you and why you believe you could be the right fit for Bridge.
