The Opportunity
Make a Difference in Community Health
Access Health and Community (AccessHC) is seeking a skilled and compassionate Enrolled Nurse (EN Grade 2) to join our Medical Services team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in community-based primary care, supporting General Practitioners while delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred nursing care in a team-oriented and values-led environment. Reporting to the Practice Manager, this is a Max Term Part-time 0.6 EFT position working Monday – Friday until 24th December 2026) based at our GP Clinics in Richmond & Hawthorn.
About the role
The Enrolled Nurse plays a critical role in supporting clinical service delivery across AccessHC Medical Sites. You will work closely with General Practitioners, Practice Nurse and other health professionals to ensure safe, efficient and coordinated care for clients. The role includes clinical care, care coordination, administration, quality improvement activities and participation in accreditation processes. The role requires the flexibility to work across the sites and cover leave when required.

What you will be doing Key responsibilities
Clinical & Nursing Care (under supervision by RN)
- Provide triage, assessment and emergency nursing care
- Administer immunisations, injections and medications
- Perform ECGs, spirometry, ear syringing and wound care
- Assist GPs with medical and minor surgical procedures
- Collect and manage pathology specimens
- Support chronic disease management, health assessments and care plans
- Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, medication stock and cold-chain compliance
Client Care & Service Coordination (under supervision by RN)
- Deliver professional, courteous and culturally safe care to all clients
- Respond to nurse-directed phone enquiries in a timely manner
- Coordinate referrals to internal and external services (e.g. My Aged Care, NDIS)
- Proactively manage recalls and reminders to support continuity of care
Administration & Systems (under supervision by RN)
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
- Manage recalls, reminders, GPMP and TCA documentation
- Schedule routine equipment maintenance and audits
- Use clinical systems including Cubiko, and Best Practice / Medical Director
What you will bring Key Selection Criteria
You are a confident and organised Enrolled Nurse with experience in primary care or community health who thrives in a collaborative environment
- NMBA approved Diploma of Nursing and approved qualification in medicine administration
- Division 2 registration with mandatory supervision requirement
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an enrolled nursing
- Have in-depth knowledge of the funding streams and regulations and legislation applicable in a GP practice.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Best Practice, Medical Director Clinical and Pracsoft, Polar, PEN CAT and relevant software applications
- Accredited Nurse immunisation certificate

Compliance Requirements
