As our national store network continues to grow, we’re looking for a hands-on Retail Operations Specialist who can step into our stores, identify opportunities and help our teams perform at their best.

This isn’t a desk-based operations role. You’ll regularly travel and deploy to stores, working alongside Store Managers and retail teams to improve operational performance, coach best practice and ensure our standards are consistently delivered.

Your Mission

Reporting to the National Retail Operations Manager / Head of Retail, you’ll support operational performance across multiple stores and help create lasting improvements.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Deploying to stores to support operational performance and achieve business KPIs
- Working with Store Managers to identify operational gaps and implement improvement plans
- Coaching teams and demonstrating operational best practice
- Supporting and training teams across Click & Collect, inventory management,



claims and visual merchandising
- Improving stock integrity and ensuring cycle counts are completed
- Supporting efficient and safe warehouse operations
- Managing customer pickups and assisting with receiving and unloading stock where required
- Reviewing operational processes and identifying opportunities to improve productivity and profitability
- Supporting stores to achieve customer service and sales expectations
- Monitoring operational and safety compliance
- Providing feedback and recommendations to national retail leadership
- Working closely with Retail, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Transport, IT and People & Culture teams
- Implementing approved operational initiatives and ensuring improvements are embedded within stores

What Success Looks Like

You’ll be accountable for helping stores achieve key operational standards, including:

- Maintaining shrink/swell at 0.2% of revenue
- 100% completion of overdue cycle counts by end of month
- Achieving the 95% Click & Collect performance benchmark
- Zero Click & Collect orders aged over 30 days
- Maintaining non-compliant Click & Collect orders below 0.4%
- 100% compliance with monthly site safety inspections
- 100% compliance with weekly asset counts
- Supporting an average claims closure time of less than 24 hours

- You have strong experience in retail operations, warehouse operations or multi-site retail
- You understand inventory management, stock integrity and operational KPIs
- You have experience with Click & Collect and retail fulfilment processes
- You’re confident coaching and training Store Managers and team members
- You can walk into a store, identify what's not working and develop a practical solution
- You’re comfortable working hands-on alongside store teams
- You have robust communication and stakeholder management skills
- You’re organised, adaptable and comfortable working across different locations
- You understand the importance of WHS and operational compliance
- You’re comfortable with the physical requirements of warehouse operations, including regularly lifting, packing and moving products
- You are comfortable with regular travel and deployment to stores

Essential Requirement

A current and valid Forklift Licence (LF) must be maintained for this position.

Successful candidates will be required to hold or obtain a satisfactory National Police Check as part of the pre-employment screening process.
