About the role:

We are looking for an experienced CCTV System Technician to join our team in Brisbane.

The role is responsible for the daily management of DTI's local onsite maintenance and installation activities for customers in Queensland.

While the role is Brisbane based, interstate travel may be required from time to time to support DTI's broader customer base and project requirements.

The successful candidate will be expected to comply with DTI's values of Safety First, Own It, Excellence, Know Your Customer and One Team, and demonstrate their commitment to these values through personal leadership.

Key responsibilities:





· Maintenance and repair of on-vehicle equipment.

· Provide onsite support to customers with DTI backend software applications.

· Daily remote health monitoring of customer sites as required.

· Installation of electrical wiring, fabrication and system components for local maintenance and installation projects.

· Completion of installation testing and handover documentation for DTI customers.

· Management of local onsite customer requirements.

· Provide mentoring and direction to other members of the operations team.

· Conduct regular quality audits of field work completed by Technicians and Trades Assistants.

· Provide support to the Operations Manager at monthly customer meetings as required.

· Provide support for monthly customer SLA report reviews.

· Travel interstate when required to support DTI customers and projects.

About you:

We are looking for a technically capable and customer-focused technician who enjoys solving problems and working in a varied environment.

You will have:

· Advanced level of computer/IT skills.

· Electrical installation and troubleshooting experience.

· Network installation and troubleshooting experience.

· Experience and ability to read technical drawings.

· Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritise, work under pressure, think analytically and communicate effectively.

· Ability to work in a team-based environment as well as autonomously.

· A positive attitude towards problem-solving.

· Strong customer service skills.

· A willingness to travel interstate when required.

Desirable:

· Electrical licence.

· Previous experience in the rail, bus or transport industry.

· Experience with CCTV, networking, vehicle electronics or similar technology.
