About the Role
Crestmead Early Education Centre is looking for a reliable and motivated Cleaner to join our team and help us maintain a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation across our service.

This is more than just a cleaning role. You will be an important part of our service community, helping us provide a safe,



hygienic and welcoming environment for our children, families and educators every day.

Working across our early learning environment, your responsibilities will include, however not limited to:

- Cleaning and sanitising children's learning spaces
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Cleaning of all bathrooms, children and staff spaces
- Supporting laundry and general cleaning duties
- Emptying bins and maintaining waste areas
- Restocking cleaning and hygiene supplies
- Maintaining our front entrance and shared spaces
- Following our service cleaning schedules and infection-control procedures
- Identifying and reporting maintenance, safety or hygiene concerns
- Working collaboratively with educators and the leadership team

Working Around Children
As you will be working within an early childhood service, child safety is everyone's responsibility.

The successful applicant must understand appropriate professional boundaries when working around children and be committed to our Child Safe practices, policies and procedures. A current Queensland Blue Card or the ability to obtain one will be required.
