About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to join the team at our waste centre, in Bowral, NSW.

This is an excellent full time opportunity for a proactive leader with recycling or waste management experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about operational excellence and sustainable outcomes.

A typical day as the Site Supervisor would involve:

- Ensuring all team members understand and comply with company WHS policies, procedures and site-specific safety requirements.
- Working closely with the Site Manager to ensure the landfill and waste transfer operations run safely, efficiently and in accordance with operational requirements.
- Ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and submitted within required time frames, including daily checklists, operational reports, work permits, JSAs, pre-starts and incident reports.
- Monitoring plant and equipment and promptly identifying any maintenance, mechanical or operational issues, working with the Site Manager to coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Ensuring plant and equipment are operated safely and appropriately,



and that site activities comply with EPA requirements, applicable waste and environmental regulations, WHS legislation and local council requirements.
- Maintaining effective traffic management and safe interaction between customers, heavy vehicles, plant operators and pedestrians.

About You

- Proven experience operating mobile plant and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Proven ability to delegate tasks effectively while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards
- Strong awareness of safe work practices when working around heavy plant and machinery.
- Ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated experience leading and supervising teams to achieve operational objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organisation.
