Rocksteady Homes is seeking an experienced, trade-qualified carpenter to join our team on the Sunshine Coast. We specialise in quality residential renovations, extensions and high-end building work. We are specifically looking for an experienced carpenter who is confident working with existing structures, solving problems on site and producing a high standard of finish.
Key responsibilities
Work effectively as part of a team and independently on residential renovation and extension projects
Take responsibility for running a job on site when required
Read and work from plans
Solve problems on site and think ahead
Communicate effectively with other trades and clients
Coordinate other trades and run smaller residential projects (where applicable)
Produce high standard of finish and workmanship
About you
Trade-qualified carpenter
Solid residential renovation and extension experience
High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
Ability to read and work from plans
Solid problem-solving skills and ability to think ahead
Reliable, honest and hardworking
Able to work unsupervised and take responsibility for work on site
Works well within a small team and communicates effectively with other trades and clients
Own reliable transport and skilled-quality carpentry tools
Current ABN, appropriate licences and insurance
Must have the legal right to work in Australia
Must provide at least one relevant trade/building industry referee
Previous leading hand or site supervisory experience is highly regarded
High-end residential renovation experience is highly regarded
