About the role

Ecore are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent prospect for an accounting professional who is progressing toward their CPA qualification and is looking to further develop their experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial operations, preparing reports, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with various departments to ensure efficient and compliant financial processes.

This role is based at our head office in Perth CBD.

Key responsibilities
Prepare monthly journals, reconciliations, and financial reports & assist with the preparation of management and statutory accounts.
Review financial transactions and identify discrepancies or errors & support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.




Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to gather information and resolve financial queries & Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Assist with payroll administration and related reporting requirements & contribute to process improvements and financial control initiatives.
Ensure compliance with organisational policies and accounting standards

About you
Experience using Xero & advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
Experience managing and analysing data through spreadsheets & strong document management and reporting capabilities.
Demonstrates high levels of accuracy and attention to detail & can effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Thrives in a team-oriented team environment.
Possesses strong initiative and problem-solving skills & is committed to professional development and growth opportunities within accounting and finance
