We are seeking reliable, experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operators for ongoing work in a busy Cold Storage environment.
This is a full-time hours, Monday to Friday position, and we are looking for people who are genuinely seeking reliable, ongoing work.
SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE:
Proven Counterbalance Forklift experience
Experience operating Crown Joystick machinery
Experience using Slipsheet / Push Plate attachments
Current LF Forklift Licence
THE ROLE ALSO INVOLVES:
General warehouse and labouring duties as required
Container unloading
Manual handling and the ability to safely lift up to 25kg
Working as part of a team in a Cold Storage setting
HOURS:
Monday to Friday – 38 hours per week
AM Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm
PM Shift: 2:30pm – 10:30pm
Applicants must be versatile and available for overtime when required
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS:
Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
This position is not suitable for Working Holiday or Student Visa holders due to the ongoing,
full-time hours and availability required
Robust verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to clearly communicate with supervisors and co-workers and understand workplace instructions and safety procedures
Current Driver Licence and reliable vehicle
Own PPE, including steel-capped safety boots
Freezer clothing rated to -47°C preferred – assistance with purchasing suitable freezer gear can be provided if required
Current clean Victorian Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
