Karlayura Personnel is seeking experienced Fixed Plant Electricians for a 2:1 roster. Our client is a leading mining contractor delivering long-term maintenance solutions across major WA mine sites. Due to continued growth, they are looking for motivated Electricians ready to step into a 2:1 roster. This is a great prospect for electricians looking to further develop their experience in the maintenance space.

Key Responsibilities
HV commissioning, testing and energisation
Commissioning of switchgear, transformers, protection relays and control systems
HV/LV testing and fault finding
Control system commissioning and instrument calibration
Reading electrical schematics and single-line diagrams
Fault finding and rectification
Maintaining commissioning records and documentation
Working closely with engineering, operations and commissioning teams
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant standards

What is needed for the role?
Current WA Electrical Licence
HV Switching Operator certification
Demonstrated HV installation and commissioning experience
Current CPR/LVR
White Card
Valid Driver’s Licence




5+years' experience in mining, renewable energy or HV infrastructure
Experience with SCADA and protection relays such as SEL, Schneider or Siemens
Experience with commissioning and pre-commissioning documentation
Knowledge of isolation and permitting systems
