We’re currently recruiting for an established and growing fire services business in Sydney, looking for an experienced Fire Services Technician / Electrician to join their team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a combination of electrical and dry fire experience who is looking to build their career across fire protection, compliance and maintenance.
About the Role
You’ll be working across commercial and other managed properties, carrying out a mix of electrical and fire protection works, including:
Electrical repairs to emergency and exit lighting systems
Minor dry fire works and rectification
Fire safety maintenance and defect repairs
Assisting with AFSS inspections
Supporting inspection and compliance activities
Identifying defects and providing practical solutions
Working with clients, site contacts and other contractors
Ensuring all works are completed safely and to the required standards
What We're Looking For
We’re ideally looking for someone with:
Dry fire experience
Previous exposure to AFSS inspections and fire safety compliance
A current NSW Electrical Licence
Experience with emergency and exit lighting
Valuable understanding of fire protection systems and maintenance
Solid attention to detail and commitment to safety
Positive communication and client-facing skills
Full Australian working rights
Current driver's licence
You don't need to be an expert in every area of fire protection — we're looking for someone with the right electrical and dry fire foundation who is keen to continue developing their skills.
