We are currently seeking an Accounts Clerk to join our Finance Team at our Brisbane Head Office. This role would suit someone with previous experience or relevant qualifications in accounting or finance who is looking to further develop their skills and grow their career in accounting. Full training will be provided, along with ongoing development prospects, within a team-oriented and supportive team setting.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will play an important role in supporting the financial operations of the firm and ensuring the accurate management of client and business accounts.
Your responsibilities will include:
Daily bank reconciliations
Trust transfers
Trust accounting journals
Managing debtors and creditors
Client ledger maintenance
Petty cash management
Drawing cheques
Invoicing
Assisting with general finance administration and reporting activities as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Experience in an accounts, finance or bookkeeping role (experience within a professional services environment highly regarded)
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Sound written and verbal communication skills
