About the role

A permanent part time accountant role (12–20 hours per week) in a boutique Chartered Accounting practice. You'll prepare financial statements, tax returns and BAS for clients, with directors reviewing and taking care of client delivery. There is no client-facing responsibility in this role - no client emails, meetings or calls required.

You'll work from the office for part of your week, wholly in-office during the initial probation period while building rapport, transitioning to a hybrid arrangement after that.

Work with minimal oversight on technical accounting tasks

About you
CAANZ qualification preferred (not mandatory)
Prior experience in public practice accounting
Intermediate or senior level public practice experience
Comfortable preparing financial statements, tax returns and BAS with minimal oversight
Wants meaningful, technically engaging work without the responsibility of managing client relationships
