Experienced Veterinary Nurse – Permanent Part time Position Available

Our Practice:

For over 50 years, Penrith Veterinary Hospital has been caring for Penrith’s pets and their owners. Our experienced veterinarians and dedicated nursing team are committed to delivering high-quality veterinary care in a friendly, comprehensive, and affordable environment. With a team of 9 experienced veterinarians supported by almost 20 veterinary nurses, no two days are the same in our busy and agile hospital.

We are currently seeking a passionate and outgoing veterinary nurse to join our team on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:
Animal care, handling, and hospital treatments.
Maintaining hospital hygiene and cleanliness of surgical areas and equipment.
Assisting with anaesthetics, surgery, and patient monitoring.
Pre- and post-operative patient care.
General nursing, blood collection and laboratory sample processing.
Reception duties, delivering excellent care to patients and owners.

About You:
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.




Minimum 2 years of previous clinical experience as a Veterinary Nurse.
Available to work 2x days per week (Wednesday and Friday).
The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace.
Excellent customer service and communications skills.
An enthusiastic, friendly, caring, and hardworking attitude.
