Ample Care Support Services is currently looking for reliable, experienced and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team and provide ongoing support to a client living with quadriplegia.

We are looking for staff who are confident providing high-level personal care and physical assistance and who understand the importance of dignity, choice and person-centred support.

Key responsibilities may include:
Personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming and toileting
Manual handling, transfers and repositioning
Assistance with mobility and wheelchair use
Pressure care and skin integrity support
Medication assistance, where required
Meal preparation and assistance with daily living activities
Community access and appointments
Completing progress notes and following the client’s care/support plans

Requirements:
Previous experience supporting clients with quadriplegia,



spinal cord injury or high physical support needs is highly preferred
Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability or a related qualification
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Children Check, where applicable
Current First Aid & CPR
Valid Australian driver’s licence
Reliable and qualified
Valuable communication and documentation skills
Must be comfortable with manual handling and personal care
