We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
Expert knowledge and experience in developing and leading a portfolio management office in alignment with strategic objectives and organisational outcomes.
Proven experience working in an ICT environment, with an understanding of the PMO requirements in this workplace, monitoring performance and outcomes, whilst cultivating effective working relationships to deliver continuous improvement.
Highly developed communication skills including the ability to build and maintain beneficial professional networks, work collegiately with stakeholders, and write qualified, high-quality documents for the consumption of senior managers, external audiences, and other stakeholders.
Demonstrated high level leadership skills and experience in providing expert advice on PMO related issues to senior management and team members.
Previous experience in a government workplace or a similar setting that has required you to work within stringent governance, policy, program and project management frameworks.

Whilst not mandatory, a tertiary or postgraduate qualification in an ICT discipline will be highly regarded.
Whilst not mandatory, a qualification in Management of Portfolio (MoP), would be highly regarded.
