We're looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Market Stall Attendant to join our team selling premium cookies at local markets and events.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is happy working independently. You'll be responsible for running a busy market stall, providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for every customer.
The position is available most Sundays (typically every second Sunday, with prospects for additional Sundays depending on your availability). There are also opportunities for extra shifts at markets, festivals and other events throughout the year.
Typical hours: 5:00 am – approximately 12:30 pm.
Responsibilities
Drive the company van to and from the market.
Set up and pack down the market stall independently.
Sell premium cookies and provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service.
Process EFTPOS and cash transactions accurately.
Restock products and keep the display looking full and inviting.
Answer customer questions and recommend products.
Maintain a clean, organised and professional stall throughout the day.
Represent the business with enthusiasm and professionalism.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous customer service experience.
Loves interacting with people and creating a outstanding customer experience.
Is reliable, punctual and comfortable with 5:00 am starts.
Can work independently and use initiative.
Is physically capable of lifting up to 20 kg and being on their feet for several hours.
Is well presented with a positive, can-do attitude.
Is 18 years of age or older.
Holds a current driver's licence and is confident driving a van.
