We are an Italian fine-dining restaurant located in the heart of Melbourne CBD, and we are looking for a reliable and motivated Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher to join our skilled kitchen team.

About the Role
As a Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher, you will play an important role in supporting our chefs and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly throughout service. Your responsibilities will include:
Washing and sanitising dishes, cookware, utensils and kitchen equipment
Keeping the dishwashing area, kitchen and storage areas clean and organised
Assisting chefs with basic food preparation when required
Ensuring rubbish and recycling are managed appropriately
Cleaning kitchen floors, benches and equipment
Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety
Assisting with deliveries, stock movement and general kitchen duties
Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Comfortable working in a busy, high-pressure setting
Physically fit and able to remain on your feet for extended periods
A team player with a positive attitude
Well-presented and committed to maintaining high hygiene standards
Willing to learn and take direction
Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential for the right candidate
Experience in a fine-dining or Italian restaurant environment will be highly regarded.
