Duty Manager | Permanent Role | Alexandria, NSW

We are seeking a vibrant, hands-on, Full time Duty Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our busy Alexandria pub—an inner-city favourite with a welcoming country soul.

Key Responsibilities

The Role
Engage patrons: Build genuine connections with locals on the floor to maintain our warm, country-hospitality vibe.
Drive social media: Create, post, and manage content daily across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook to pack out our nightly events.
Make video content: Film and edit fun, engaging TikTok videos and Reels that showcase our pub’s personality and country-style hospitality.
Supervise shifts: Manage front-of-house, bar, and gaming operations seamlessly during busy service.
Train staff: Onboard current casual team members and develop their service skills.
Ensure compliance: Enforce NSW liquor, gaming, and WHS regulations strictly.
Build rosters:



Create effective staff schedules aligned with peak trading times and nightly events.

Skill & Experience

What You Must Have
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years as a supervisor or duty manager in a fast-paced food, beverage and gaming venue
Digital marketing & TikTok: Hands-on experience creating fun social media videos and content that drives attendance to nightly venue events.
Customer service: Exceptional customer service skills with a natural ability to engage and build rapport with patrons.
HR & Leadership: Proven skills in staff rostering, hands-on training, and performance coaching.
Conflict resolution: Ability to handle internal staff issues and customer RSA situations calmly.
Certifications: Current NSW RSA and RCG competency cards are non-negotiable.
Availability: Full flexibility to work a rotating roster including late nights and weekends.
