As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of TOMRA's advanced sensor-based sorting systems across Australia.
You will act as a trusted technical expert for our customers, ensuring maximum equipment performance while building robust, long-term relationships.
This is a field-based position with regular travel across Australia and occasional international travel.
What You'll Do
Install, commission, test, maintain, and optimize TOMRA sorting systems.
Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, mechanical, software, and network-related issues.
Provide exceptional technical support to customers and internal stakeholders.
Deliver operator and maintenance training to customer teams.
Coordinate service activities, upgrades, and project-related work.
Prepare accurate service reports and documentation.
Identify prospects for upgrades, improvements, and spare parts sales.
Collaborate closely with Project Management, Sales, and Technical Support teams.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
