About the Role

This role sits within the Tax Compliance & Reporting team and is responsible for preparing accurate and timely tax compliance and reporting documents for Australia and Overseas, while assisting with cross-border tax planning strategies across the Group. It's a outstanding prospect for a tax qualified looking to broaden their exposure beyond a single jurisdiction and get involved in transfer pricing, SOX-compliant tax processes and US SEC reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and liaise with external advisors on local statutory tax returns, including income tax, GST.
Assist with tax registrations, internal approval workflows,



tax calendars and compliance documentation across Australia and Overseas.
Support tax audits and prepare responses to inquiries from tax authorities.
Assist in maintaining the Group's global transfer pricing methodology.
Prepare documentation and memorandums to support the Group's tax positions.
Contribute to tax forecasts and monitor changes in tax legislation.
Support SOX-compliant tax processes and procedures across the Group.
Assist in implementing cross-border tax planning strategies.

Skills / Experience required
Minimum 5 years' corporate tax experience. Big 4 or in-house with a large multinational.
Australian CTA (or international equivalent) highly regarded.
Exposure to IAS 12 / ASC 740 and US SEC reporting an advantage.
Foundational knowledge of Australian tax law with familiarity in international tax principles.
Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
SAP S/4HANA experience highly desirable.
Full unrestricted working rights (ESSENTIAL).
