Labourpower is currently recruiting for 10 experienced machine operators to join a National Food Manufacturing plant in Taren Point. This is an ongoing prospect working in a fast-paced food production environment. The role will involve operating and monitoring production machinery, along with packaging and generally production duties.
AVAILABLE SHIFTS
Afternoon: 3:30pm - 11:30pm
Night: 11:30pm-7:30pm
To be successful for this role you will need:
Previous machine operating experience, preferably within manufacturing or food production
Food manufacturing experience preferred, but not essential
Experience in production and fast-paced physical environments
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good understanding of workplace safety and quality requirements
Excellent reliability and punctuality
Have FULL WORKING RIGHTS and AVAILABILITY
Your duties will include but will not be limited to:
Operating and monitoring food production machinery
Monitoring machines to ensure they are running efficiently and report any faults
Operating production equipment and following production specifications
Packing finished products accurately into cartons
Rapid-paced packaging and labelling
Completing production paperwork as required
Following food safety, GMP and workplace safety procedures
Maintain a clean and organised production area
Working as part of a team while also being able to work autonomously
