About the Company

Our client is a well-established, growing, family-owned business supplying the swimming pool industry Australia-wide. They are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team and take responsibility for a broad range of bookkeeping and accounts functions. Based at their Welshpool headquarters, this is a hands-on role working closely with the finance and operations teams. The position would suit someone who enjoys variety, enjoys a supportive, fun work environment, takes pride in accuracy and is confident managing their own workload.

About The Role
Permanent Full-Time Position
Location: Welshpool, WA
Salary: $78,000 - $85,000 + Super (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities
Managing accounts receivable functions with some accounts payable functions when needed




Conducting debt collection calls and following up outstanding payments
Preparing and submitting BAS accurately and on schedule
Processing payroll efficiently and accurately
Reconciling financial statements and resolving discrepancies
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
Assisting with month-end and year-end financial reporting
Providing general finance and administration support as required

To Be Successful
Proven experience in a broad bookkeeping role, including debt collection
Sound knowledge of BAS, payroll and general accounting principles
Solid computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn recent accounting software (Online Advantage or Pronto experience is highly desirable)
Previous experience using Xero (highly regarded)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines
Relevant bookkeeping/accounting experience or formal qualifications
