This established commercial builder has a strong record of delivering quality projects across Melbourne. With a healthy pipeline of secured work, the business is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a new office development in Berwick.

The Project

You will oversee the construction of an $8 million, three-level commercial office building incorporating a concrete structure, building services and high-quality internal finishes.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take responsibility for all day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standard.

Key responsibilities will include:
Managing the project from site establishment through to completion
Coordinating the concrete structure and subsequent trade packages
Developing and maintaining short-term construction programs
Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel
Coordinating deliveries, materials and site logistics
Reviewing drawings and resolving construction issues




Conducting quality inspections and managing defects
Leading site safety, inductions and toolbox meetings
Reporting regularly on progress, risks and upcoming activities

About You

To be considered, you will ideally have:
Proven experience as a Site Manager with a commercial builder
Experience delivering multi-level commercial projects
Robust knowledge of concrete structures and construction sequencing
The ability to manage projects from structure through to fit-out and handover
Strong subcontractor coordination and programming skills
Excellent knowledge of Victorian building and safety requirements
Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
