About the Prospect

Our client is a premium developer and builder delivering residential and commercial projects.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll own financial reporting across the full group, from monthly management accounts through to Board-level packs. This role sits at the intersection of technical accounting, commercial analysis and ERP system ownership, and you'll be the internal subject matter expert for NetSuite.
NetSuite proficiency is essential for this role.
You'll work closely with Development, Construction and Project Management teams to ensure data is accurate and reported on time.
What You'll Do
Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and consolidated group financial reports
Prepare Board-level reporting packs, including narrative, variance analysis and forward-looking commentary
Ensure financial reporting complies with AASB and IFRS standards
Manage month-end and year-end close, including journals, reconciliations and intercompany eliminations
Monitor financial performance across active development projects, including budget tracking,
cost-to-complete and margin reporting
Design, build and maintain reports, dashboards and Saved Searches within NetSuite, and manage chart of accounts and multi-entity consolidation structures
Partner with IT and external NetSuite consultants on system enhancements, integrations and upgrades
Lead the annual budgeting process and prepare rolling forecasts and cash flow projections across the group
Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisers through the year-end audit process
Manage and mentor junior members of the finance reporting team
What You'll Bring
Expert-level NetSuite proficiency, including Financial Report Builder, SuiteAnalytics, multi-subsidiary consolidation and system administration
Proven experience preparing Board and executive-level reporting packs in a complex, multi-entity workplace
CA qualified, with a Bachelor's degree in business/commerce (finance or accounting major)
Robust stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships quickly and effectively.
Language Skills:
Professional English is mandatory
Chinese skills are beneficial
