Perth based - NOR Opportunity for Temp to Perm or Full Time

Are you a WHS skilled who knows safety is more than paperwork and ticking boxes?

WestLink Workforce are looking for a switched-on WHS Officer to join a growing team and work closely with the HSEQ Manager, helping drive safety, education, compliance and continuous improvement across our client's manufacturing business.

Please note hours of work are 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

You'll be out there making safety happen, including:
Managing WHS compliance records and the Myosh safety system
Conducting workplace inspections and following up corrective actions
Leading toolbox meetings across departments
Assisting with risk assessments and SWMS
Supporting new employee WHS onboarding and inductions
Keeping training and competency records up to date
Educating teams on protected work practices and procedures
Working with managers to build a genuine safety culture
Supporting safety,



risk management and continuous improvement initiatives
Chairing monthly Safety Committee meetings

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You don't need 10 years of experience — we're looking for someone with around 2+ years' WHS experience who is:
Confident communicating with people at all levels
Practical, approachable and solutions-focused
Comfortable getting out on the floor rather than living behind a desk
Familiar with WHS legislation, risk assessments and SWMS
Organised with robust attention to detail
Passionate about improving workplace safety
Ideally experienced with Myosh or similar safety management systems
