AGA is currently seeking an experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join a well-established and growing hydraulic repair business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with robust hydraulic knowledge who is looking for a hands-on role with the potential to grow into a Leading Hand position.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm

About the Role

You will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, testing and servicing of a wide range of hydraulic equipment. The role is primarily workshop-based, with occasional on-site work required.

Key Responsibilities
Resealing and testing hydraulic cylinders
Servicing and repairing hydraulic jacks
Repairing and testing foot pumps and hand pumps
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on a variety of hydraulic equipment
Performing occasional on-site hydraulic testing and tagging
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard




Maintaining accurate service and repair records

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience as a Hydraulic Fitter or similar mechanical role
Solid hydraulic knowledge and fault-finding skills
Experience repairing hydraulic cylinders, pumps and related equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
A proactive and reliable work ethic
