Senior Project Engineer | Tier 2 Builder | $300M Project

An established Tier 2 commercial builder is looking to appoint a Senior Project Engineer to join the delivery team on a major $300M mixed-use development in Sydney.

With a solid national presence, an excellent forward pipeline and $4B of work in hand, the business delivers complex projects across commercial, mixed-use, residential, education, healthcare and government sectors.

The Role

Working as part of an experienced project team, you will take responsibility for key packages on this large-scale development, with exposure across structure, façade, and finishes.

Key responsibilities:
Managing subcontractor packages from procurement through to completion
Coordinating design, consultants, subcontractors and site teams
Driving programme, quality and safety outcomes
Managing RFIs, shop drawings, design coordination and technical issues
Monitoring progress and resolving construction issues
Supporting the Project Manager and wider project team with overall delivery





Required experience:
Previous experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer with a reputable Tier 1 or Tier 2 builder
Experience delivering large-scale commercial, residential or mixed-use projects
Strong technical and subcontractor management skills
Experience across façade and/or interiors packages highly regarded
A relevant construction, engineering or building qualification
