Logistics Officer – Warehouse
Mount Barker | 6-Month Contract | Full-Time | $44.29 per hour + Super
We are looking for a hands-on Logistics Officer to join a busy Supply Chain team in Mount Barker on an initial 6-month contract, commencing as soon as possible.
This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse, stores, logistics or inventory experience who enjoys practical, hands-on work and working as part of a team.
The Role You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of warehouse and stores activities, including:
Picking, packing and dispatching materials and equipment
Receiving, storing and handling stock safely
Maintaining accurate inventory and stock records
Conducting stocktakes and stock adjustments
Processing orders, requisitions and inventory transactions
Assisting internal teams and suppliers with logistics and procurement requirements
Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
Ensuring correct materials handling and storage procedures are followed





About You We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised and comfortable working in a warehouse/stores workplace.
You will need:
Previous experience in warehouse, stores, logistics or inventory operations
Current Driver’s Licence (Class C)
Current forklift/high-risk licence
Valuable communication and customer service skills
Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to work safely, follow procedures and work independently

Forklift experience is highly desirable.
