Our client has been established over 30 years, is a diversified business and has a solid focus in development and building delivering residential projects across medium density and detached housing.
About the Position:
Due to growth, an exciting prospect exists for an Estimating Manager to join the team in a key leadership role. We are considering candidates from other states that may be open to a relocation to Sunny QLD!
Supporting a large estimating department this role will be responsible for the following
Responsibilities will include:
Manage workflow across the Sales and Production teams.
Lead Estimating team recruitment and performance
Creating master BOQ files
Approving purchase orders and extra orders to site
Manage workflow across the deparment
Contribute to procurement and pricing discussions
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following:
5 years residential estimating experience
Experience in an Estimating Manager position or similar within a volume builder
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders
A focus on achieving targets and quality results
Relevant tertiary or trade qualifications highly regarded
