DRD Group is currently seeking an Entry Level Rig Geologist to join a Resource Definition team at a major Pilbara iron ore operation.

This chance is ideally suited to a recent graduate or early-career Geologist looking to build their career in mining. Applicants must have previous mining experience, with at least 6 months of site-based geology exposure in a mining or exploration workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Logging RC drill chips at the rig
Monitoring sample quality and geological data
Assisting with daily drilling activities and field tasks
Maintaining accurate geological records
Following site safety procedures and contributing to a positive team setting

Requirements
Degree in Geology or a related Earth Science discipline
Current C Class Manual Driver's Licence




Minimum 6 months' mining geology experience (mandatory)
Previous mine site experience (mandatory)
4WD competency (essential)
WA mining experience
Current First Aid Certificate (desirable)
