Rate: $88.29 - $94.59 p/hr + Super

The Chance

Step into a high visibility AO7 position with a Queensland State Government agency. You will lead the design, execution, and modernisation of the whole of department corporate planning and performance reporting frameworks.

Working directly with Executive Leadership, you will bridge the gap between high level policy vision and tangible operational road maps ensuring the agency meets its state mandated governance and public reporting obligations.
Strategic & Operational Planning: Oversee the end to end development, review, and alignment of multi year corporate strategy and annual operating plans.
Executive Performance Reporting: Drive the delivery of quarterly, annual, and specialised performance dashboards for Senior Leadership and Ministers.
Framework Modernisation:



Identify gaps in current evaluation tools and implement continuous improvements to streamline agency wide reporting systems.
Strategic Advisory: Provide authoritative guidance on QLD Government governance standards, public sector accountability frameworks, and risk management.

What You'll Bring
QLD Government Expertise: Deep knowledge of Queensland Government's Performance Management Framework and state public sector reporting requirements.
Executive Influence: Proven ability to consult, negotiate, and present complex performance insights clearly to C-suite and Senior Executives.
Delivery Focus: Solid project management discipline with a track record of meeting strict statutory reporting deadlines under pressure.
