Located in Artarmon, NSW 2064, S C MEDICAL PTY LIMITED is currently seeking a Biomedical Engineer to become part of its growing team.

Key Responsibilities
Designing, developing, testing, and evaluating biomedical equipment and medical devices to meet clinical and operational requirements.
Installing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing biomedical equipment to ensure secure and reliable performance.
Conducting routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and performance testing of medical devices.
Investigating equipment faults, identifying technical issues, and implementing effective solutions.
Ensuring all biomedical equipment complies with relevant Australian standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance requirements.
Preparing technical reports, maintenance records, and equipment documentation accurately and efficiently.
Liaising with healthcare professionals, suppliers, and manufacturers to provide technical support and equipment recommendations.
Assisting with the evaluation, commissioning,



and implementation of new medical technologies and equipment.

About you
At least one year of relevant experience as a Biomedical Engineer or in a similar role.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Biomedical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Strong technical knowledge of biomedical equipment, medical devices, and diagnostic systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with solid attention to detail.
Ability to interpret technical documentation, specifications, and engineering standards.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and technical teams.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain accurate technical records.

Job Type: Permanent/Full time
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum.
