About the role

As a Kitchenhand, you'll be an essential part of our kitchen team, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operation within the kitchen. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll assist with food preparation, dishwashing, cleaning, stock handling, and maintaining a safe and hygienic workspace. This is a hands-on role that requires a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to support the team wherever needed. The role offers 15 to 20 hours per week. Key Responsibilities
Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, benches, and utensils
Assisting chefs with basic food preparation




Operating the commercial dishwasher and maintaining cleanliness in the back of house
Following all Food Safety and WHS requirements

About You
Experience working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen
Knowledge of secure food handling practices and a current Food Hygiene Certificate
Solid attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
A team-focused attitude, with good communication and personal presentation
The ability to follow instructions and manage multiple tasks efficiently
