DC Search is partnering with a leading renewable energy operator to recruit a Mechanical Technician for a solar farm near Parkes, NSW.

As part of the site-based Operations & Maintenance team, you'll play a key role in maintaining the performance, reliability, and protected operation of the plant. This is a great prospect to secure a permanent position within Australia's growing renewable energy sector.

Your Day-to-Day
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems and site infrastructure.
Inspect, maintain, and repair solar tracker systems and associated components.
Perform routine inspections to monitor equipment performance.
Troubleshoot mechanical faults and complete repairs as required.
Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Assist with general site maintenance alongside the wider Operations & Maintenance team.
Operate site equipment, including tractors, RTVs,



and mowing equipment.

What You'll Need
Minimum 2 years' experience in a mechanical or trade-based role.
Mechanical trade qualification (Certificate II or III desirable).
High Risk Work Licence.
Current C Class Driver's Licence.
Experience working with similar mechanical systems.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and obtain a valid National Police Check.
Basic computer skills for maintenance reporting systems.
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
